Dear friends, followers, customers and colleagues

So many of us faced personal and professional challenges during July and perhaps some are still struggling. I just want to start off this post with a wish and a prayer of love and peace to each of you reading this message.

With the dawn of a new month comes renewed hope and unknown possibilities. And so I choose to be as optimistic as possible and step into this month with courage and faith. I hope that you feel inspired to do the same and spread your own bit of kindness and compassion in any way you can, so others can be inspired too.

And with that I welcome you to the AVON South Africa August 2021 brochure launch.

Happy Women’s Month!

Every August in South Africa we celebrate Women’s Month and we pay tribute to the women who went before us and paved the way for us to step into our power. We still have a long way to go in our society and in the world, but every day yet more and more sheroes are standing up for themselves – even if only in small ways in their own homes, communities and work places – contributing to the support and upliftment our sisters.

Are you honouring yourself as a woman? Do you have a nurturing self-care routine where you get to indulge in all of your favourite pleasures? You deserve to be loved by you. Self-care can be so simple and yet so powerful in our lives. Pamper yourself, turn your phone off, take yourself on a date, journal, meditate…find small ways to show yourself that you care. The Women’s Health website has some great tips on self-care. Here is a selection:

Write down five things every day that didn’t totally suck
Have a mini dance party
Move for at least 30 minutes a day
Sit up straight
Detox from work and technology
Volunteer just one hour a month (or more)
