Be your own Valentine this month and make a commitment to self care and self love, whatever that means for you. We must take care of ourselves first, or we will not be able to take care of others. Quality time with ourselves is something that we so often take for granted. But every day is an opportunity to start fresh. Think about what you enjoy doing for yourself and write those things down with the intention to schedule time to do them (and do it). I practice (and teach) yoga to strengthen and nourish my body, and I really enjoy listening to audiobooks. I also love bird-watching in my garden, as well as long, pampering baths. Start a new hobby or positive habit and enjoy the sense of freedom of simply doing something for yourself….even if it’s curling up with a book or settling down to binge-watch your favourite series, or writing or drawing in your journal. Whatever you do, do it for yourself and make it feel good.

There is still a lot of uncertainty out there right now, but it won’t be that way forever. Make the most of the time to look for love, positivity and new opportunities, and you will enjoy a lighter and happier sense of self that will give you the strength to get through these challenging times.

I’m grateful for my Avon business and all my Avon Beauty Bosses in my team
I’m grateful that I can hear birds singing in my garden and enjoy fresh air
I’m grateful for the technology that allows me to stay in touch with my friends and family
I’m grateful to you for reading this blog post
