I know that this post may be a little late…but hey, we were on holiday 🙂 But trust me it’s worth the wait, especially since we’ve included the bonus January 2020 brochures that have been released so far – watch out though, because one of them is only valid until 15 January! New Year’s Resolutions

Yes, yes…a bit of a cliché…but it’s JANUARY….so one cannot help but consider positive changes for the new year. And that’s the best thing about new year’s resolutions…they inspire positive change and being kind to yourself….like exercising and eating better, or indulging in unhealthy habits less frequently. Here’s a list of some of positive lifestyle changes that you can consider this month…and since the idea of resolutions is to be kind to yourself, no beating yourself up for not sticking to any goals 100%…after all, you can always try again and resolutions and goals can be set throughout the year – not just in January!

Gratitude: Start a gratitude journal and list at least 3-5 things that you’re grateful for every day. It could be your family, your great hair or smile, or your kind heart…
Drink lots of water: 2-3 litres a day. This should become second nature. You will notice a difference within 1 – 2 weeks and hopefully you will feel so great that you will continue forever!
Exercise: You do not have to join a gym to get a good workout! Walk around your neighbourhood, check out the free online yoga/pilates/HIIT workouts on YouTube, or stretch while watching TV…
Get creative: Find something that inspires you…like drawing, writing, or making things. You could start knitting scarves to give away to people in need in Winter or you could decorate a journal or do some gardening.
Learn something new: There are tons of free courses and information online. You could study anatomy, or a new language by watching YouTube videos! Learn a new skill like flower arranging or how to change a car tyre. You never know when it will come in handy!
Start a new side hustle: So many people are supplementing their income with creative new ideas. You could become a tutor, start a blog, bake and sell cupcakes, for example…or join Avon
