Happy June everyone and welcome to Winter! We are almost halfway through the year and I hope that you are able to look back and acknowledge any progress or small wins that you have had over the last 5 months of this year. Yes, we have all faced challenges especially as a result of Covid, but waking up everyday, smiling at your partner or kids, calling a friend, or finding a creative way of making some extra income during tough times, are all great accomplishments and should be recognised. I would love to hear from you if you followed along with last month’s Meaningful May happiness project from https://www.actionforhappiness.org. Here are some more ideas that you can try out this month for motivation and inspiration, especially as the weather gets colder and colder…brrrr.

Happiness journal prompts:

What do you love about yourself? Write at least one physical aspect of yourself – smile, hair, eyes, legs, toenails…whatever, and something about your personality – that you are kind, caring, considerate, patient, punctual…anything. Write as much or as little as you like.
Write about something that you have overcome and how you can inspire others who are in that situation.
Consider the times that you have made someone feel better about themselves. Write what you would say to yourself when you are feeling down and then go back to that whenever you feel like you need a self worth boost.
Write yourself a positive and inspiring letter about your vision for the future and read it again in a year.
